Toronto FC forward Derrick Etienne Jr. will represent Haiti at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, marking his first World Cup appearance. Etienne Jr. joins two other MLS players on Haiti's roster, including Philadelphia Union midfielder Danley Jean Jacques and FC Dallas forward Louicius Deedson. The 29-year-old American-born attacker has represented Haiti in all four Concacaf Nations Leagues, three Concacaf Gold Cups, and helped Les Grenadiers qualify for this summer's World Cup. Haiti are in Group C alongside Scotland, Brazil, and Morocco, with their first match against Scotland on June 13 in Boston, Massachusetts. Etienne Jr. has been with Toronto FC since the 2024 campaign and has made 230 MLS appearances, scoring 22 goals and providing 25 assists. He was a valuable piece on multiple trophy-winning sides, including RBNY's 2018 Supporters' Shield victory and the Crew's 2020 MLS Cup presented by Audi title.
